Baterinho – Jacob Collier special

In August 2019, after he rehearsed with our magnificent Metropole Orkest, I approached Jacob Collier and presented Baterinho to him. He sat on it and played and gave some useful feedback. Not only on the Baterinho itself but also on how to start crowdfunding. The Kickstarter campaign that we launched in December 2021 was the result of that. To thank Jacob for his time and the inspiration he had given me over the years I custom painted a Baterinho for him and sent it to him for his birthday. He sent me a picture of him sitting on his Baterinho in his Room. And to this day the instrument can be spotted in the video’s he posts from his room.
